Today I took part in a team card sketch challenge.

This is the sketch that we used, I used the Expressions in Ink Dsp for the background and the colour for the top layer is Blackberry Bliss and the flower is from the pansy patch Dsp which I punched out. I think it makes a great contrast don’t you?

Simply Succulent thank you card

 Happy Victoria Day! To everyone in Canada. And what great weather we have been having. I have been busy this weekend organizing my retired products and taking pics to sell them on a local selling site.

Today I decided to ink up my Simply Succulent stamp set to make some customer Thank you cards. I coloured the succulents with my Stampin Blends, I find that colouring is very relaxing.

 The colours I used were :                                                    Mint Macaron , Fresh Freesia , Soft Succulent , and Crumb Cake for the plant pot.

The card base is Fresh Freesia( my favourite new in colour!) by the way are you loving the new In colours? Love them.

Handsomely Suited card class projects

Happy weekend to all my crafty friends, thank you for stopping by my blog today.

Today I held my monthly virtual card class and apart from Zoom not cooperating with me I ended up using Facebook Live for the class. The ladies all enjoyed it. This month’s class we highlighted the Handsomely Suited stamp set and matching dies. We made a Father’s Day card and two Masculine Birthday cards.

This card is called a “pocket card” as the inside piece comes out and the greeting is on the back. You could also attach a gift card to the inside card.

 

This card could be for male or female, the base colour for this card is Just Jade and I used Basic Grey for the bow ties.

I really love this card especially love the tie shaped dies.

Start them young!

 Hello crafters,

I don’t have a card to share with you today but thought you would like to see what was happening in my day job.  I work full time in a childcare centre and we had fun during Art time today.

I brought in some old ink pads and a retired stamp set and let the kids create. They really enjoyed it. 

They did an awesome job and miraculously didn’t get ink everywhere😀

Fun with Puffins

I can't believe its May already! 2 more days till the new Annual Catalogue and you are going to love it. Please contact me if you live in Canada and need a Catalogue.

Today I decided to make a fun card with the Party Puffins stamp set, it is so cute. This is a slim line card which will be great for co workers Birthday.  The card base is 8.5" x 7" and scored at 3.5". I used the Real Red and Pumpkin Pie Stampin Blends.
