Yesterday I decided to try a new technique (To Me)
The emboss resist is a fun technique to try.
I designed this card for the Global Design Project #GDP388
This weeks challenge was to case Designer Ann Alexander's Card.
I used the Celebrate Sunflowers (Now Retired) and the Daisy Garden Background stamp which also has retired and is sold out unfortunately.
- The card base is Bermuda Bay 11" x 4 1/4" and scored at 5 1/2".
- Basic Black cardstock layer is 5 3/8" x 4"
- Basic White layer is 3 7/8 x 5 1/4"
- Stamp the Daisy Garden stamp with Versamark and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.
- Using the Blending brushes ink up the image with Bermuda Bay,Mango Melody and Merry Merlot Ink. wipe of the excess ink with a tissue.
- Die cut the Sunflowers with Gold Foil cardstock and adhere partial cuts .
- Stamp the sentiment with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and fussy cut.
- Embellish with the Iridescent Pearls.
