Sweet Songbirds Simple Stamping

 

Hello and welcome to my blog, I am so happy that you stopped by. Today’s card is a simple stamping project, no dies or punches required. This type of card is perfect for someone who is just beginning to stamp but also for the more experienced crafter as you can step it up.

I shared this card on my Friday Afternoon crafting video on Facebook and YouTube. I just received this stamp set by accident and it turned out a happy mistake. 

The measurements for this card are:

• The card base is Balmy Blue 8 1/2” x 51/2” and scored and folded at 4 1/4”
• I added a 4” x 51/4” layer of Balmy Blue and embossed it with the Merry Melody embossing folder. You could also leave it as is to make it more simple.
• Basic White layer is 3 1/4” x 4”
• Early Espresso layer is 3 1/2” x 4 1/4”
• Stamp the branch with Early Espresso Ink and the leaves are stamped with Old Olive Ink.
• The bird is stamped with Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, and Pumpkin Pie Ink.
• The sentiment is stamped with Early Espresso Ink.
• The musical notes are stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
