Weekly Card Sketch #45

 September 8th, 2024


For this week’s sketch I chose to make a sympathy card, although we wish we didn’t have to make them it’s good to have a few in your collection.


I love the Copper Clay & Crushed Curry combo.




Card Sketch #45



Measurements 

  • Copper Clay card base 8 1/2” x 5 1/2” scored at 4 1/4”
  • Very Vanilla layer 5 1/4” x 4”
  • Crushed Curry layer 5” x 3 3/4”
  • Very Vanilla strip 1 1/4” x 5”
  • Using the Falling Leaves embossing folder, emboss the Crushed Curry layer and the Very Vanilla strip together as shown in today’s video.
  • Using the Nested Essentials Dies - die cut 2 layers with Mossy Meadow(2nd smallest) and Very Vanilla (smallest)
  • The greenery additions are die cut with the Golden Greenery Dies with Gold Foil and the Season of Green & Gold Dsp.
  • Embellish with the Adhesive-Backed Metallic  Gems.

Inside the Card
  • Very Vanilla 5 1/4" x 4"
  • Using Copper Clay Ink, stamp sentiment of your choice, I used the Softly Sophisticated (retired) set.
  • Add a die cut from the Graceful Greenery Vellum.
