Hello stampers,
I hope you are keeping cool and that the heat is not too unbearable for you. It's pretty hot here! Thank goodness for the AC.
I would like to share this project using the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper. This money holder can also be used to gift a chocolate bar or money The inspiration for this came from fellow Demonstrator Dana Weatherall (Stampin' Guider).
Measurements:
• Balmy Blue: 9 1/16” x 7 1/16”; scored on long side at 2 ¾” and 6 5/16”; also scored on short side at 1cm from each end
• DSP: 6 1/8” x 2 5/8” – two pieces.
• Basic White 2" x 2" Circle
Balmy Blue Scalloped circle
• Scraps of Basic White and Pacific Point for the sentiment dies.
Instructions:
Using the Trimmer, cut the large Balmy Blue on each of the 1 cm lines from the 2 ¾” line all the way to the bottom.
2. Using Paper snips, cut off the two tails along the 2 ¾” score you just created with the trimmer leaving tabs only on one section.
3. Die cut the Gnome from the Storybook Gnomes Dsp and adhere to the White circle.
4. Stamp sentiment on a piece of white card stock using Poppy Parade ink.
5. Burnish all the score lines on the Balmy Blue base in same direction.
10. Cut wedge out of both ends of tabs.
11. Using corner rounder, round all four corners of base.
12. Attach two tabs using multipurpose glue.
13. Round top two corners of one piece of DSP and bottom two corners of the other.
14. Attach DSP to outside flap and bottom front of base using multipurpose glue.
15. Attach the circles to left of front flap using multipurpose glue.
16. Attach sentiment to right side of front flap using dimensionals.
17. Attach both sides of Velcro dot to each other then place on inside of front flap and close to stick it to the bottom.
This the the inspiration for my project.
Thanks to Dana Weatherall
