Anne Marie Jakubiec: Hippest Hippos Card Class

Hello and welcome to my blog today.

Yesterday I held my monthly card class to go as all of my customers received the Hippest Hippos stamp set and dies during Saleabration I decided to have this class.

Don't you just love these Hippos they are so cute!

For this card I used the 2022-2024 In Colour Designer Series Paper.

This colour is the Parakeet Party

The card base is Parakeet Party cardstock 4 1/4" x 7 1/2" and scored at 5 1/2"
Orchid Oasis cardstock 2 x 1 3/4" x 4 "
Designer Series Paper 2 x 1 1/2" x 3 3/4"
Parakeet Party 4 1/4" x 2"
Orchid Oasis Tailor made tags die cut is approx 3 3/4"
Basic White tag is approx 3 1/4"
Basic White 5 1/4" x 4" for inside layer
Smoky Slate and Petal Pink Stampin Blends are used to colour the hippo.

Flirty Flamingo for a flirty Hippo!

Flirty Flamingo card base is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
3 3/4" x 5 1/4" layer of Flirty Flamingo is die cut with the Dots & Spots die is popped up with mini dimensionals.
Gray Granite circle is 2 1/2" ( Stylish Shape Dies)
3" x 1/2" strip of Basic Gray
3 1/2" x 2 1/2" layer of the Silver & Gold Dsp (Saleabration)
1" x 1" square of Blushing Bride cardstock
White Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon for the bow.

Ships Ahoy!

Card base is Balmy Blue 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Basic White layer is 4" x 5 1/4" and is embossed using the Into the Clouds embossing folder
The waves are die cut using Balmy Blue cardstock
The cloud is from the Give it a Whirl dies
The sentiment is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento and punched out with the Double Oval Punch
Die cut the boat with Soft Suede cardstock
I used the adhesive sheets for the glasses
The Hippo is coloured with Smoky Slate Stampin Blends

A little Christmas Hippo Dancing in the Snow!

The card base is Real Red 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Basic White layer is 4" x 5 1/4" and embossed using the Whimsical Woodland 3D embossing folder
The Story Book Gnomes Designer Series Paper is 2" x 5 1/4"
The sentiment is from the Kindest Gnomes stamp set and is stamped in Real Red and layered onto a label die from the Holly Berry Dies.
The Hippo is coloured with Smoky Slate Stampin Blends and the hat is from the Penguin Place stamp set.
