Circle Sayings Card Class Projects

Hello Stampers, 

Every month I offer a Card Class To Go Online Event. This class is product based and we get together via Zoom. Yesterday's Class featured the Circle Sayings bundle.  

The cost of this fun class included the bundle and a class kit to make 3 cards.

Today I found a partially made card that I had forgotten to finish...... How many unfinished projects do you have Lol ?  So I decided to actually finish it !

This card was a potential design for this month's Circle Sayings Class but then I changed my mind. So I thought why not pair it with another stamp set and that's when I came up with this card featuring the In The Moment stamp set. I must admit there is fussy cutting involved! Sorry if you aren't into fussy cutting.

Happy Friday! It's the start of the first long weekend of this Spring/ Summer 🌅      I hope the weather stays nice for everyone that is planning on camping.  I will be prepping for my next class and upcoming swaps, so I will be in my craft room most of the weekend, but hope to get out in the sun at some point.........

Today on my Live video I made a card using a fun sketch challenge that was in a team challenge last week. I love these challenges as it gets me trying new things.

I am so happy to be participating in Kylie & Bruno Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop for May 2023. The theme for this Blog Hop is customer thank you cards.

We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are part of Kylie and Bruno's Training Program. Every month I make and send customer thank you cards for anyone that places an order with me or have taken part in my online classes for the month.

You may be starting here or have come from another blog- either way you can find the blog list at the bottom of this post.

For this month's Customer Thank You cards I am Highlighting the "Crafting With You"bundle (161226)

For this month's card I am using the Crafting With You Bundle with the Countryside Corners bundle.... Wow 2 Bundles !!

I am loving all of the New & Returning Colours and so I decided to use most if not all of them in this card. 

Measurements etc

•  Boho Blue card base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored and folded at 4 1/4".
• Layer of Boho Blue 4" x 5 1/4" is stamped with the paint brushes image in VersaMark for a fun background.
• Night of Navy cardstock layer is stamped with Countryside Corners stamp and is heat embossed with White embossing powder and die cut with the largest Countryside Corners Dies.
• Basic White layer is stamped in Night of Navy Ink and die cut with the 2nd largest Countryside Corner Die.
• For the centre layer - I cut 1" strips of all of the New Core Colours and glued the them to a 4 1/2" x 3"layer of Basic White cardstock, then die cut with the 3rd largest die.
• Using Basic White cardstock stamp the sentiment with Night of Navy Ink and die cut with the 3rd smallest die in the Countryside Corners dies.
• Stamp the little hearts with Boho Blue Ink.
• Paper Snips- Die cut the scissors with Basic Black cardstock and Silver Foil cardstock. Cut the Black at the point where there is a small score line and glue to the Silver foil die cut. (I love the little scissors)😀

Just Swinging By to say Hi !

 

My card for today is featuring the cute " Little Monkey" bundle.

I made this card on yesterday's Livestream on Facebook and on my YouTube Channel.  I love this cute little monkey! This bundle comes with the stamp set and coordinating Punch and because it is a bundle you save 10%.

Measurements etc:

• Copper Clay Card Base 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4".
• 2023-2025 In Color Designer Series Paper (Copper Clay) layer is 4" x 5 1/4". Adhere to the card base .
• Basic White and Lemon Lime Twist cardstock  layers are die cut with the Deckled Rectangle Dies ( 3rd largest).
• Using a Blending brush with Lemon Lime Twist add some ink to the outer edges.
• Stamp the tree branch in Memento Black Ink and colour with the Medium Deep Stampin' Blends , fussy cut and adhere to the Lemon Lime Twist Layer.
• Die cut some leaves from the Seasonal Branches dies and add some ink with a Q Tip (see video)adhere around tree branch.
• Stamp the monkey with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink then colour with the Medium Deep Stampin' Blends and the Medium Stampin' Blends. Punch out and attach with Dimensionals.
• Stamp the banana in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and. colour with Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends, punch it out and adhere.
• Embellish with 2023-2025 In Color Dots.
• Stamp the sentiment with Copper Clay Ink.

Seasonal Branches Book Fold Card

 This weekend I took part in my team's Virtual Playdate where I was a presenter. I made this fun fold card for my presentation, so I decided to recreate it for my Wednesday Live video on FB & YouTube. I used the new Seasonal Branches bundle along with the Countryside Corners.

• Moody Mauve card base is 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" score at 2 1/8" + 4 1/4".
• Basic White layers are 5 1/4" x 4" +  1 7/8" x 5 1/4" +  3 1/4" x 2".
• 2023-2025 In Colour Dsp layer 5" x 1 5/8".
• Pebbled Path card stock is die cut with the 3rd largest Scalloped Contour Dies.
• Stamp the sentiment with Pebbled Path Ink
• Stamp the yarn image with Moody Mauve Ink and Die cut.
• Die cut the basket using Pecan Pie card stock.
• Die cut the buttons with Pebbled Path & Moody Mauve card stock.
• Stamp the flowers onto the inside with Moody Mauve ink.
• Stamp the inside sentiment with Pebbled Path Ink.
• Embellish with 2023-2035 In Colour Dots.

Last night on my Live Video I did a walk through of some of my favourites in the new 2023 Annual Catalogue btw I have a lot of favourites Lol!

I showed a couple of cards that I made with the Little Monkey and Circle Sayings Bundles so as I didn't actually make them on the video I thought I would share them here with the measurements.

The Little Monkeys bundle comes with the Photopolymer stamp set and the 2 3/8" Circle Punch. I am going to have so much fun using this.

Measurements

• Card base is Basic White Thick card stock 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored = 4 1/4"
• 2023-2025 In Color Designer Series paper layer is 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" using the  Copper Clay design.
• Lemon Lime Twist layer is 5 1/4" x 4" stamp the leaves with Lemon Lime Twist Ink to make a fun background.
• Using the Countryside Corners Dies (3rd largest) die cut with Basic white.
• Stamp the tree branch with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colour with Stampin' Blends... I used the Natural Tones Blends - su200 and Granny Apple Green.
• Stamp the Monkeys with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colour with Stampin' Blends (su200 and Crumb Cake) then punch out.
• Stamp the sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
• Embellish with the 2023-2024 In Color dots.
