Last weekend I took part in a team Virtual Retreat where I was one of the presenters. Each one of the presenters was given a challenge. Mine was a sketch challenge. The card on the left was the card I demonstrated at the event and the one on right I demonstrated last night on my Wednesday Night Live video.
This was the sketch that I was given.
Card Details
- Night of Navy card base 11" x 4 1/4" score 5 1/2"
- Basic White layers are 5 1/4" x 4" (2)
- Emboss one of the Basic White with the Snowflake Sky embossing Folder.
- Die cut a Balmy Blue circle with the largest circle in the Stylish Shape Dies, then stamp some snowflakes from the Beary Cute stamp set. Adhere the circle to the embossed layer. add 6" of the Balmy Blue Sparkle Ribbon before adhering to the card front.
- Attach the Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper 4 3/4" x 1 1/2"to a Silver Foil sheet 5" x 1 3/4" and attach to the card front with Dimensionals.
- Stamp the sentiment from the Joy To You stamp set with Night of Navy Ink and die cut with the Countryside Corners dies (5th largest).
- Adhere the sentiment to a 3 1/8" x 1 1/2" layer of Silver Foil.
- Embellish with the Tinsel Gems or Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
- Inside the card : stamp the sentiment from the Joy to You in Night of Navy Ink (mask off part of it)
This is the card that I Demonstrated at the team event.
This card is the same layout and dimensions but with this card I embossed the Night of Navy strip with Stars At Night Hybrid Embossing Folder and used Gold Foil instead of silver.
The Designer Series Paper is the Shining Brightly Specialty Paper and the ribbon is the gorgeous Night of Navy & Gold Glittered Ribbon.
I embellished with the Adhesive Backed Star Trinkets
