Every Sunday, I love sharing a card inspired by a sketch from the Annual Catalogue. This week’s featured sketch highlights the Hugs For Love stamp set and the gorgeous new Floral Delight Designer Series Paper.
This sketch is a perfect way to showcase your favourite Designer Series Paper and let those beautiful patterns shine!
This week's Sketch
What You’ll Need:
Hugs For Love stamp set .
Cardstock: Old Olive,Crushed Curry and Basic White.
Designer Series Paper: Floral Delight.
Ink pads: Mossy Meadow.
Dies: Everyday Arches.
Adhesive: Stampin' Seal or Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin Dimensionals.
Embellishments: Daffodil Delight Satin Ribbon & Gold Textured Adhesive-backed Dots.
Paper trimmer and Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.
Step 1: Create Your Base - Cut a piece of Old Olive 11" x 4 1/4" and score at 5 1/2" to create a standard A2 card base. Fold and burnish the crease. Adhere a 4"x 51/4" layer of the Floral Delight Dsp to the card base. Cut a layer of Crushed Curry 2 1/4" x 4 1/2" flag both ends and adhere on an angle.
Step 2: Cut the focal image layers: Old Olive 3" x 3 1/4" and Floral Delight 2 3/4" x 3" adhere with multi purpose liquid glue.
Step 3: Die cutting : Die cut Old Olive and Basic White with the 2 smallest Everyday Arches Dies, stamp the Basic White Die cut using the Hugs For Love stamp set with Mossy Meadow Ink.
Step 4: Embellishments: Embellish with the Daffodil Delight Satin Ribbon & Gold Textured Adhesive-backed Dots.
