Weekly Card Sketch/ Pick A Season

Welcome to this week’s Card Sketch feature! I’m thrilled to showcase the Pick A Season stamp set in today’s design. This set is a personal favourite because of its incredible versatility—it has the perfect elements to create cards for every season, from blossoming spring flowers to Fall Leaves.

For this sketch, I wanted to create something timeless and adaptable. Whether you’re crafting for a birthday, holiday, or "just because," this layout is the perfect foundation. Let’s dive in!






Here’s the sketch for this week:

This design focuses on layering and balance, with space for the amazing focal image that takes centre stage. It’s simple yet impactful—ideal for stamping enthusiasts of all levels.





The Pick A Season Stamp Set is one of the FREE items during Saleabration.

Card Measurements

  • Old Olive card base - 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2"
  • Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Basic White 3" x 4", Stamp the tree with Old Olive and Pecan Pie Ink (trunk). Stamp the flowers with Fresh Freesia Ink.
  • The clouds are stamped with Balmy Blue Ink.
  • Stamp the dog from the "Storybook Friends"using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink then colour with Stampin' Blends (Smoky Slate).
  • Stamp the garden gate with Smoky Slate Ink.
  • Add a 3" x 1/2" strip of the Toadstool Gardens Dsp
  • Die cut 2 of the smallest Perennial Postage Dies (Old Olive and Basic White).
  • Stamp the sentiment from the Simply said stamp set using Old Olive Ink.
  • Embellish with the Brushed Brass Butterflies.


Inside The Card

  • Basic White 4" x 5 1/4" Stamp the greeting with Old Olive Ink.
  • Toadstool Gardens Dsp strip - 4" x 3/4"
