Awash in Beauty

Today I would like to share a card that was made with the Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper. I love this paper and the colours are gorgeous.

Measurements etc:

• Card base is Blackberry Bliss 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored and folded at 4 1/4"
• Awash in Beauty Designer Series Paper 5 1/4" x 4" die cut the centre of the Dsp with the 2nd largest circle in the Stylish Shapes Dies.
• Die cut the largest circle of the same dies in Blackberry Bliss.
• Line up the design of the Dsp and glue to the Blackberry Bliss circle and adhere to the layer of Dsp with dimensionals.
• Using the ladybug punch punch out the body in Basic Black, Stamp the wings in Rich Razzleberry and punch out. Adhere to the circle layer with dimensionals.
• Stamp the sentiment from the Blessings of Home stamp set in Blackberry Bliss, trim to 4"x 1/2" and add a layer of Blackberry Bliss.
• Embellish with brushed brass butterflies.

Brewed For You Class Projects

Yesterday I held my monthly Card Class To Go. We had fun using the Brewed For You Bundle. This class was on Zoom, hopefully one of these days we will be able to meet in person.

 Hello Friends, I hope you are enjoying this lovely summer weather. This morning my husband and I went down to the Toronto Beaches to meet my sister and brother - in -law for breakfast. Then we had a lovely walk along the boardwalk and stopped to watch the lawn bowling. Now my hubby wants to play too!

How are you doing on this lovely Friday night? It's a hot one here in the GTA.

I decide to make a quickie card tonight using a stamp set that I've had for a while but haven't used, it is the Forever Fern stamp set.

This a very simple card to make. I am not the best at blending and so I was practising tonight and this was the result.

The card base is Pear Pizzazz  8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and scored and folded at 4 1/4". I used the Scalloped Contour dies as a frame, I blended with Pear Pizzazz using the blending brushes.I stamped the images in Cherry Cobbler, Pear Pizzazz and Orchid Oasis on Basic White cardstock. The sentiment is from Peaceful Moments.

June 2022 Paper Pumpkin - Pick of the Crop

Happy Thursday, I hope you are having a good week.

I have been busy prepping and delivering my monthly Card Class To Go! This weekend I am having the class via Zoom, I love these classes...... this class is using the Brewed for You bundle.

This kit comes with a cute little bag to stamp.

For This card I changed it up a bit.

 I Trimmed the awning off and popped it up with dimensionals at the bottom edge so that it looked more 3D and added an extra loaf of bread.

I didn't care for the shape of the bread so I trimmed the white away and rounded the top and bottom, i think it looks much better this way.

Team Swap Cards

I hope you are having a lovely weekend. It's been very windy here!

Today was supposed to be my weekly Facebook Live but instead of the video going Live on my Facebook page I made a mistake and it went Live on my Youtube Channel instead! Lol Oh well I will post the video if you would like to see it.

So this month I did my first team swap, it was fun getting all of these lovely cards in the mail every day. We did groups of 15

Tea Boutique "Miss You" card © Stampin' Up!

Welcome to my Blog thanks for visiting! 

Do you have a friend that you would like to reconnect with? What's better than a card. I plan on sending this to a friend I haven't seen in quite a while.  I used the Tea Boutique Suite to make this card, I hope you like it.

Measurements etc

• The card base is Crushed Curry 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
•             For the main layer I trimmed  one of the envelopes that come in the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes to 5 1/4" x 4"
•         I added a layer of Fresh Freesia 5" x 2" and embossed it with the Gingham embossing folder.
• The tea cups were die cut using the Tea cups dies , I used Dsp for one and the other was Orchid Oasis cardstock with a layer of Basic White.
• The sentiment on the tea cup was stamped in Orchid Oasis and the Miss You sentiment was from the Art Gallery stamp set.
• The tea cups are popped up using dimensionals.
• Embellish with the Glossy Dots assortment.

Today I am continuing with my Father's Day / Masculine card series, I hope you are enjoying this week's cards. I would love to know which one is your favourite.

The card that I created today is using the Scrappy Strips technique. Shout out to @Bruno Bertucci for coming up with this technique, it's great for using up your scraps.

Details

• I have used the "He's The Man" Designer Series Paper scraps. 
• The card base is Cajun Craze 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored @ 4 1/4"   
• The first layer is Gold foil sheet is 5 1/4" x 4".                           
• 2nd layer is Early Espresso 5" x 3 7/8".                                     
•            Glue your strips of Designer Series paper on a layer of Early Espresso            (3 5/8" x 4 7/8" )you can decide how much space is between each strip.
•           Stamp the sentiment from the He's All That stamp set using  Early                  Espresso  ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and die cut using the All That dies. Adhere with dimensionals.
• Die cut 2 Gold Foil elements (Not sure what they're called!).     
• Embellish with the Rustic Metallic dots.

Home & Garden Father's Day Card

 Hello Stampers.

With all this rain the grass is getting lots of watering!

Today is #3 in my Father's Day/ Masculine Series.  This card is featuring the soon to be retiring Home & Garden Bundle. The Garden dies are 50% off right now while supplies last. Check out the Last Chance list.

Measurements

• Card base is Early Espresso 8 1/2' x 5 1/2" and scored @ 4 1/4"
• Heart & Home Designer Series Paper 5 1/4" x 4" and a strip 5 1/4" x 3/4".
• Stamp the Ladder x 2 , Shears, Trowel and gloves in Memento Black ink then colour with Stampin' Blends: Crumb Cake , Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate and Cherry Cobbler, then die cut. You will do 2 ladders glue first one then add the 2nd with mini dimensionala.
• Stamp the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler then adhere to a layer of Early Espresso which is die cut with the Stitched Rectangle.
• Embellish with the Brushed Brass Butterflies.

For this card I have used the new In colours (Starry Sky and Orchid Oasis). and added the Brewed for you as an added accent.

 Hello Stampers, how is your weekend going?  I had a lovely day yesterday with my family as it was my nieces 30th Birthday!  This is the first time since the Pandemic started that we have all been together. We had an outdoor picnic at the Toronto Beaches Park, it was a lovely day.

Today's card is featuring the Party Puffins stamp set.  This stamp set is such fun,it will be great for kids and the young at heart.😀

               This simple stamping card is perfect for first time stampers.

I have used the Tea Boutique Cards & envelopes for the card base.                           I added a layer of In Colour Dsp ( Starry Sky)  5" x 3 1/2" . I stamped on a Scalloped Contour die layer using Memento Black Ink and coloured with Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.
